2006 WSOP: WSOP Main Event Gets the Day Off

After six days of nonstop Main Event action at the 37th annual World Series of Poker, the weary poker players who have survived their first and second days get a welcome day off to lick their wounds, get some sleep, fuel, and get ready for the big day on Friday when some 1400 players will take their seats in the Amazon Room and begin the long battle to make it to the final table. For those who have survived this far dreams of the $12 million first prize are probably dancing in their heads, although many would surely be happy to settle for as low as 12 on the prize ladder as the top 12 finishers are all guaranteed at least $1 million.
