2006 WSOP: Day Two of the World Series of Poker Starts at Noon

Even though the Main Event of the 37th annual World Series of Poker started on July 28th and has been running each day since then, August 1 is officially the second day of the event. Due to the more than 8000 players who signed up, each paying $10,000 to participate in this big show of poker, the first day of the event was split up over for physical days. Now those days have wrapped up, today is Day 2A, where the survivors from Day 1A and Day 1B will come together and battle it out until only a few hundred remain. Tomorrow, Day 2B will perform the same function from the survivors of Day 1C and Day 1D.
