WSOP Has New Music

For four years ESPN has broadcast the World Series of Poker with the same theme, a sort of western rock guitar riff inspired piece of music, and WSOP officials decided it was time for a change. Executive Producer Matt Maranz contacted MusicBox, a firm known for building themes for TV and movies, to produce the new WSOP theme. MusicBox put together a few tracks and sent them over, and from them Maranz picked the building blocks of this year's new WSOP theme, a more trendy approach to fit with Las Vegas.
