2006 WSOP: Phil Hellmuth Captures Tenth WSOP Bracelet

It was a long time coming for the man affectionatly known as the Poker Brat, but finally Palo Alto, CA poker player and World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth won his tenth WSOP bracelet, tying up the record for the most bracelets currently held by Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan.Last year the three way race was between Chan, the first to win to a tenth bracelet, and Brunson, the second, and Hellmuth, who had to wait till this year to do it. Hellmuth's recent role as co-host on Celebrity Poker Showdown has caused many to criticize him as a serious poker pro, but those arguments should be laid to rest now.
