2006 WSOP: Event 30 Ends Today

The shorthanded games at the World Series of Poker always offer a great deal of action, and the five thousand dollar price tag for Event 30 almost guaranteed it. Players started to push early on in this event, which wraps up with final table action today. Plenty of pros angled for a spot, like Joe Awada, Kenna James, John Juanda and Mats Gavatin, but it wasn't to be so. The final table players are Tony Woods, Jonathan Gaskell, Tom Franklin, Erick Lindgren, Paul Foltyon, and Jeff Madsen. Kicking off around mid-day, this final table shorthanded event promises a lot of action for the ESPN camera crews.
