Recently the youngest player ever to win an event in the World Series of Poker, Jeff Madsen, took home over six hundred thousand dollars for the event. This is what poker is all about these days, as 21-year-old, as well as a lot of other poker players of all ages, dream about winning a big jackpot and changing their lives. Madsen, a UC-Santa Barbara student, paid two thousand dollars to play in the WSOP event, and his dream came true.On the other side of the coin are those players whose dreams turn to nightmares, such as Greg Hogan, a 20-year-old who pleaded guilty to bank robbing charges last week in Allentown, PA. Hogan only managed to get a little under three thousand with his crime, and even that was not enough to pay the five thousand he owed from his online poker debt. Hogan may spend three years in prison for his crime.
