2006 WSOP: WSOP Shootout Finds a Winner Today

The shootout tournament poker format is a popular way to play the game of No-Limit Texas Holdem, and so it has been closely watched for few days during the World Series of Poker's Event 25, which ends today. Each day full table was played as if it was a single table event, with one player winning the table. The winners are then shuffled into new tables, and the process repeats itself. Today it is the final table of winners who will sit down and battle it out for the honor of wearing the coveted WSOP bracelet. Fans of the ESPN broadcast show of the WSOP should look for this event to be featured when the show begins airing in the weeks ahead.
