2006 WSOP: Two Day Omaha Starts at WSOP

By launchpoker, Jul 17, 2006

Another Omaha game starts today in the Amazon Room, the spot at the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino that the action of the World Series of Poker takes place within. Players will put up fifteen hundred dollars of their own cash, unless they have a backer, in hopes to win the bulk of all the money the other players are putting up. Unlike the typical event at this year's WSOP, this event will run for two days. Today the action will continue until a certain number of players are reached, and then tomorrow the action will run until a final table is formed and then a winner declared. Play will likely break once the final table is declared so that the film crews from ESPN can set up their cameras and lights, and those not in on the fun can watch the final table when ESPN airs the show.
