Las Vegas Pro Am Poker Tourney

While the World Series of Poker is the captain of the poker ship in Las Vegas this week and next, there are other poker events going on in Sin City, including The Small Town Poker Tour Pro Am Championship Series. The event took place on Friday, July 13, at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa. As do all Small Town Poker Tour events, the Pro Am had a benefiting charity, the Las Vegas children's charity, Corps of Compassion, which provides meals to at-risk children in the Las Vegas area. In a change of pace the $200 + $60 buy in event sped up the blind levels to 20 minutes for a more fast-paced event.
