A few months ago poker players and Xbox Live fans were excited to hear that Texas Holdem was coming to the Microsoft gaming platform. One of the most exciting aspects of this game was that it would appear in Xbox Live Marketplace, which allows users to download the game directly to the harddrive of their machines. Even more exciting is that the game would be completly free, thanks to a sponsership by online poker site RiverBelle Casino. After many delays and a sullen silence on the release date, Microsoft has confirmed that the hotly anticipated poker game will be available on August 23rd.
