Oregon Fair Offers Poker

By launchpoker, Jul 13, 2007

The North West of the US has had a love/hate relationship with poker, but at the recently held Marion County Fair it was all love for Texas Holdem. Held at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem the first ever poker tournament was held, along with a few other firsts including a grill-off, a car show and a flyball tournament. The Texas Holdem No Limit Championship ran three days and was hosted by Salem Poker Stars. Top fifty players received prizes, including a silver bracelet designed by Jackson Jewelers for the first place finisher.
