Tom Schneider Wins WSOP Player of the Year

The race is over, and the only player to win multiple bracelets at the 2007 World Series of Poker has been named the WSOP Player of the Year. Tom Schneider picked up 255 points with his two victories and one other cash, keeping him ahead of runner up Jeffrey Lisandro by a scant 30 points. In terms of cashes Lisandro led the felid (tied with POY 5th place finisher Phil Hellmuth) with 6, but he won only one bracelet. Tom Schneider's season earned him $416,829. Other notables include Robert Mizrachi with 210 pts and Scotty Nguyen with 180 pts.
