2006 WSOP: Second Pot-Limit Holdem Event at WSOP

To most casual poker players, or those who find their poker fix mostly through Celebrity Poker Showdown, the game of Texas Holdem is all No-Limit. They may be surprised that not only are there other versions of the game (Limit and Pot-Limit) but that they are played for big money at the World Series of Poker. One such game, Event 18, is the $2,000 Pot-Limit Texas Holdem event, which begins today at noon. Pot-Limit is played a lot like No-Limit, except there is no calling "All In" and shoving all your chips in. You may make a bet as high as what is currently in the pot, but otherwise you follow limits that increase with the blinds.
