2006 WSOP: The Stars Come Out at Ladies Event WSOP

The Ladies Event at the World Series of Poker is always a highly anticipated event, and one that draws the most TV viewers by the time ESPN gets around to broadcasting the action on cable. Last year was no exception, and in fact things were spiced up even more for this special event. Won by movie star Jennifer Tilly, who had also won the sister event Ladies Night at the World Poker Tour that same year, this year the event will be lengthened to two days and had half as many players. Included among the 900 plus ladies in the event are contemporary Hollywood types such as Shannon Elizabeth and Mimi Rogers, both of whom showed great poker skill, as well as Ricki Lake.
