A whopping 39 players were sent from online poker room Everest Poker to compete in the World Series of Poker, but not in the main event. The preliminary Event # 49 was the target, a $1,500 buy in No Limit Holdem game, the last of a series of such games. This side event drew an amazing 3,200 players to compete, building a record breaking prize pool. Three of the Everest Poker players cashed in the event, each earning a little over three thousand dollars for their efforts. In addition the Everest players were treated to an exclusive party and gift bag.
