Oklahoma Poker Room Prepares for Boom

The Choctaw Poker Room in Durant, OK, has just wrapped up their first series of tournament play and is prepping for a boom they expect to follow in its wake. The Ten Thousand Dollar "Tournament of Champions Invitational", set for September, has laid out the welcome mat for the winners of a series of multi-table tournaments that will occur in the time between. Through the end of August multi-table play will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the popular No-Limit Texas Hold 'em holding sway. For those already familiar with the multi-table events at the Choctaw Poker Room a new kid is in town, the popular Sit and Go format found on many online poker rooms. Players will pay their buy in and take a seat, waiting for enough others to do the same to fill up the table, and then the tournament begins.
