Pros Hang On at World Series of Poker

The pro players are feeling good about this year's World Series of Poker events, currently playing at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. For years amateur players have been giving the pros a run for their money, but this year's slower pace seems to have been just what the pros need. Slower events mean better players are rewarded, and so far the pros have won most of the bracelets. Over 4,000 players have elected to participate so far in this year's Main Event, which runs through mid July.
