Today is a first day at this year's World Series of Poker when two events begin on the same day, including Event 11, the $1,500 Limit Hold 'em event, and Event 12, Omaha Hi-Low Split. Event 11 is the third Limit event of the season, which gives those who didn't finish in the money in the previous two another chance to cut their teeth. Kicking off today at noon, this event will run for three days and, like most of the action so far at the Rio this summer, promises to be an exciting event. Last year's Event 11 was won by Edward Moncada from Schenectady, NY, beating out 539 other players to take home $298,070. With the exponential growth of the series the numbers should be at least as high this year.
