For poker players the ultimate dream is playing at the World Series of Poker, and these days the dream happens more often than ever before, thanks in part to the online qualifiers and satellites. The online poker rooms offer seats to the WSOP to those who win their qualifying tournaments, so when one site reneged on the deal it caused an uproar. The poker site CnR emailed the winners of a number of WSOP seats to tell them they couldn't afford to pay off. When Poker.com heard of the distress they offered to pay the way for the winners. True to their word Poker.com not only came up with the $11,000 prize package offered by CnR but added another $1,500, matching what they paid their own winners.
