Other Venues Starting Besides WSOP

For the majority of poker players during this time of year their hearts and minds are in Las Vegas, even if their bodies are not, following along with the action of the World Series of Poker. But even if you are not one of the lucky ones who has either paid your way into the events or, even better, won your way into the action, there are other poker venues kicking off you can be a part of. This week the third season of the Online Poker League opens at Poker.com. The leagues for Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold 'em can be found there, and play is structured so that players get points for finishes that cumulate for the season.
