2006 WSOP: WSOP Big Limit Hold 'em Starts Today

There are an entire different set of approaches to playing Limit Hold 'em as opposed to No Limit Hold 'em, and the fans of this particular version of Texas Hold 'em have a shot at some big cash payouts in the 2006 WSOP Event 7, which begins today at noon. As the players take their seats in the WSOP tournament room at the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, they will have already put up $3,000 each for the privilege of playing with their peers and competitors. They won't be alone in the room, as two other events are either continuing or wrapping up today. Event 6 continues at 2 as does Event 5, the first Short Handed event this year, in its final day.
