Fifth Biggest WSOP Prize Paid

By launchpoker, Jun 30, 2007

Freddy Deeb, a well known pro poker player, has secured his second WSOP bracelet by winning one of the most prestigious of all poker events, the $50k H.O.R.S.E. at the WSOP. By winning the H.O.R.S.E. event Deeb also snagged the fifth largest payout in WSOP history. His $2.3 million win comes in just under the $2.5 million Chris Moneymaker won in the main event of the 2003 WSOP. Other top payouts are the first place finish in 2004 and 2005, and the top two finishes in 2006. This was Deeb's first bracelet since his initial win in a deuce-to-seven lowball event in 1996.
