Asia-Pacific Poker Tour

The all new Asia-Pacific Poker Tour will soon begin, spawned by the online poker room that brought you Chris Moneymaker. The Poker Stars announcement came yesterday and outlined the Tour, which will run from Korea to Australia. Like the European Poker Tour opened doors to pro level circuits in Europe, the APPT will give lots of poker players a first crack at major poker action. The first event will be in the Philippines running from August 23-26 at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila. The final event will be in December at the Star City Casino in Sydney, Australia.
