Today will be a typical day at the Rio in Las Vegas for the next six weeks plus with poker events beginning while others are ending or running on the same day. Today Event 2 ends, Event 3 is mid way through and Event 4 begins at noon. Event 4 will be the first Limit Texas Hold 'em event of the 2006 World Series of Poker, a 3 day event with a buy in of $1,500. Poker Pros big and small will be rubbing shoulders with Friday Night Players living out a dream. Players will take their seats in ten or eleven person tables and play a tighter version of Hold 'em than the more dramatic, more popular No Limit. Many pros like to play in this event because they feel the Limit format restricts the amatures ability to use of the "all in" to get lucky and push other players around.
