Texas Hold 'em and Carnival Hit Round Lake Heights

Dollars for Scholars has received some poker centric attention lately, with a number of charity poker events being held to benefit the organization, and Round Lake Heights joins in the fun with a two day festival that will include a Texas Hold 'em poker tournament. The events will start on July 21, and will include the poker event, a craft show, a carnival, and plenty of food and entertainment. While the World Series of Poker has already gotten underway this year, the winner of the festival's Texas Hold 'em event will win a seat to the main event of the 2007 WSOP.As all events will be held in the Village Hall at 619 W Pontiac court and space is limited, poker players are encouraged to register early. The poker will kick off at 8 pm on July 21 with a $75 buy in.
