One of the main reasons players head for Sin City in the summer is to play in the World Series of Poker. As the fields swell with hopeful pros and internet qualifying seat winners, the odds of actually snagging a gold WSOP bracelet seem to get smaller and smaller every year, but there are plenty of other ways to win cash, at least, during the WSOP, including Second Chance Tournaments.
The Second Chance events are held every day a regular WSOP event is held, but they are not linked, meaning you don't have to play in the WSOP Event to play the Second Chance event. They do offer those who bust out a fairly cheap shot at winning a tourney in the same day, however.
