2006 WSOP: Event One Continues, Event Two Begins

On Tuesday, June 27, the World Series of Poker continues with two events. The Casino Employees event, which began Today, will continue Tuesday at 2PM and go until a winner is declared. The second event, the No Limit, $1,500 buy in Event 2, is scheduled to begin at noon and run for three days. Last year's winner, Allen Cunningham, took home over seven hundred thousand dollars, beating out a field of more than 2,300 entrants.The rules for Event 2 are as follows: Players begin with $1,500 in Tournament Chips, and levels up to the Final Table will last 60 minutes, with Final Table levels lasting 90 minutes. There will be breaks every two rounds and a 60-minute dinner break will follow Levels 6 and 15. Play will continue on Day 1 until the completion of Level 10, will resume on Day 2 at 2 PM on June 28, 2006 and continue until the Final Table is determined. The Final Table on Day 3 will resume at 2 PM on June 29.
