World Poker Showdown Joins with Canadian Poker Tour

Heads Up Entertainment recently acquired the Canadian Poker Tour, which has announced they are joining with the World Poker Showdown in order to promote events. Starting in Calgary the WPS will kick off its 2008 season with events throughout Canada. Players will have a chance to appear on televised poker events which are broadcast as CPT Invitation Finals to be held in January of next year. The CPT Finals will run at the Ocean World Casino and will include a week of poker events.
