During the last year poker clubs have been raided by police with what seems to be an increasing frequency. This time it was the very popular Glasgow poker club, Cincinnati's Poker Club. Considered one of the more premiere places to play poker in Scotland and fronted by UK player Dave "El Blondie" Colclough, the club is often the scene of many a poker tournament.Coming in the middle of such an event on Wednesday, June 21, 35 uniformed officers storm into the club and start taking down names and addresses, seizing all the cards and chips, action taken by some of the guests as an elaborate prank until the officers produced their bona fides. There were also reported to be ten plain clothed officers, two senior police officers and four gaming officials.
