Say what you will about the state of poker around the world, and the worries and concerns of a gabling lifestyle and its effect on society, but there is a lot of evidence that poker players are generous a lot. One of the most influential institutions of the poker industry these days is the large group of unrelated charity organizations that make it their business to hold poker tournaments and poker runs to raise money for the needy. Today yet another poker run is being held, this time to benefit Camp Prime Time and the Dollars for Scholars foundation. More than three hundred motorcyclists will start at the Country Rock Cafe in Naches for the first Naches Poker Ride, forking over $15 for a registration and BBQ dinner.
