The World Series of Poker is in full swing in Las Vegas and one charity organization in North Carolina wants to send a player there free of cost. The prize is the carrot to get players involved in a charity poker event to support the awareness of liver disease. The Andy Transplant Foundation is the charity in question, founded by Susan Thompson after her brother died because a hospital refused to perform a liver transplant because there were no beds available. The buy in for the event, on June 28 and 29, will be $300.
