Coming to an end was the ninth All Africa Poker Tournament, an event that many players were looking forward to, and 120 showed up to compete for an R3 million prize pool. A whole R1 million was reserved for the top prize, which went to 26-year-old Claude Sacks as well as a seat in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event. The event was filmed and will be broadcast on the All Africa Poker Channel. The next All Africa Poker Tournament is scheduled for August 16-18, with winners headed to the Sun City Million Dollar Poker Challenge.
