For the third year running, the folks at eBay hosted a Texas Hold 'em event in Las Vegas during the "eBay Live" convention, and the well-known tournament director from Celebrity Poker Showdown was on hand to direct everyone to "shuffle up and deal!"
The Professional eBay's Seller Alliance or PeSA, hosted the Charity Poker Challenge, organized by Royal Flush Enterprises and helmed by Robert W. Thompson. With buy ins, rebuys and add ons, there're even "life lines" where players could bet on a pro level advice at $10 a pop. The event was a big hit for the participants and raised plenty of money for the New Orleans Aquarium and the NetSmartz Workshop. Pro advice was handled by syndicated poker columnist Alex "The Insider" Outhred.
