A Mobile County jury took the case under consideration and came out with a not guilty verdict. The case was one of first-degree burglary, the charge leveled against Sean Lamont Hawthorne, who was charged with stealing $40,000 from a high stakes poker game. The game had a dozen players when two armed men burst into the Mobile apartment when it was underway in August of 2006. Hawthorne, 39, was acquitted of all charges after the meeting of the jury on Thursday afternoon.
