While he is chasing World Series of Poker gold in Las Vegas, poker pro Phil Ivey is also planning to host eight surety tournaments at the Golden Nugget casino, the largest hotel casino in the Las Vegas area. The name of the event is The Budding Ivey Foundation Charity Poker Tournament and it will take place on Tuesday, July 1. The No Limit Texas Holdem tournament will also feature tournament director Matt Savage, and it will have a recommended buy in of $1000 and optional $500 rebuys. Players will be helping the outfit and pursuing a $10,000 first-place prize.
