New Automated Poker Tables Make It to NJ

Atlantic City, often called the Las Vegas of the East Coast, has been waiting to launch poker with no poker dealers, possible thanks to the special tables provided by PokerTek, Inc. The Trump Plaza Casino has been granted approval by the State of New Jersey Casino Control Commission to offer these tables, called PokerPros, in a field test. The poker room with the dozen tables at Trump Plaza Casino is now open, making it the first automated poker room in NJ. Officials anticipate great success due to the proximity to the board walk and a reduced $3 rake.
