Poker is a game that is played for many reasons. Whether the reasons are to make money, to blow off steam, to socialize, or to prove oneself, ultimately the reason is to feel good, and the participants of the third annual Motorcycle Poker Run in New Hampshire recently completed their third run and made themselves and others feel good in the bargain.
The residents at the New Hampshire Veterans Home got a shot in the sprits when the poker run players stopped by to share a moment with their bikes and plenty of conversation with the residents of the home, who also received some money raised by the Run in support of the home. This is despite the fact that participation was down by about half, with around one hundred riders this year compared to 200 last year.
