A new bill was introduced by Representative Barney Frank recently called HR 2046, the Internet Gambling Regulation & Enforcement Act 2007 that was created in answer to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) and the Poker Players Alliance is issuing a call to action. The PPA, long time proponent of keeping online poker legal in the United States, is calling on members and non members alike to speak to their Representative to show support for this Act in order to normalize the state of online poker. Former Senator Alfonse D'Amato is the chairman of the PPA.
