New Record at WSOP

Online poker pro Steve "MrSmokey1" Brillirakis has become the youngest player ever to win a World Series of Poker bracelet. Playing in the first event of the 38th annual WSOP, Brillirakis just turned 21 ten days prior to his victory, which earned him the distinction of "youngest ever" as well as a $536,287 paycheck and a WSOP gold bracelet. The event, a $5,000 mixed limit/no limit Holdem game, brought a fairly even mix of live and online poker pros to the table. Brillirakis outlasted such big name pros as Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson and Phil Hellmuth.
