Today is the fifth day of the 39th World Series of Poker, and also the opening day of the first $10,000 mixed game event for the venerable series. The $10k events have grown in popularity over the years as more and more players are finding financing through online poker rooms and super satellites. In addition the multi-game style of some poker games have become very popular, such as the famous H.O.R.S.E. games. The Mixed Game requires poker players to have skills in more than one style of poker game and is favored by the poker pros.
