The winner of the 2008 Asian Poker Tour is one David Saab. Saab, an Australian, took on over 300 players to win the event, culminating a six day run on Sunday at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel in Makati City. South Korea's Chris Roh gave him a run for his money during heads up play, but Saab, 35, emerged as the final winner. His prize is a $280k windfall. Roh gave him a tough fight, bringing his experience as the owner of an online poker room to the live table. His second place finish gave him a prize of $150k.
