The online poker bill in the US state of California has moved another step forward in its journey to become a law. The bill moved past the Assembly in the state to the State Senate on May 29. The Senate Rules Committee will then assign the bill to the next step in the process, a Committee in the upper house that will weigh its merits. The grassroots organization bent on protecting poker player rights, the Poker Players Alliance, has worked hard to lobby for this and other legislations in the US.
