New Records at 2008 World Series of Poker

The 2008 World Series of Poker is just getting underway and already new records are being set in attendance, which is good news for the organizers of the event and the players themselves. Two years ago the poker boom was at its zenith, and then last year the attendance dropped off. With Event number 2, the first No Limit Texas Holdem event, the first day had more than two thousand players, and the second day close to the same number. The old high mark was 3,151 last year.
