The biggest poker tournament ever to be held in the state of Florida will was held over the weekend, adding to the poker fever sweeping the USA while the World Series of Poker ramps up across the country in Las Vegas, Nevada. The poker tourney in Florida was a $3k buy in No Limit Texas Holdem event held at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The tourney is unique in other ways as well: instead of the typical three to eight percent of the entry fee going to the house, a whopping twenty percent, or $600, of the buy in went to the Casino.
