New Asia Pacific Poker Tour

The first Asia Pacific Poker Tour has come and gone, and the event's sponsor, PokerStars, has announced the second go. The second season of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour has been expanded with a new location in what might be a very unexpected locale, the People's Republic of China. The event will take place at the Grand Waldo Hotel and Casino, which is also the site of the first live poker room in Macau. The APPT event will begin on the first of September with two events over a nine day period, with a guaranteed prize pool for the main event of $1.3 million.
