First Overseas Tournament for Women's Poker Club

The Women's Poker Club, started over three years ago, is the largest organized collection of women poker players around the world. It is free to join and open to women from every nation of and has recently seen an influx of players from the UK. In response to its popularity in the United Kingdom it will be hosting its first live overseas tournament, the WPC UK Showdown.Held at the Grosvenor Casino on June 17, the WPC UK Showdown will be a No Limit Texas Hold 'em event. The winner will get a seat to the World Series of Poker Ladies Event. The prize package will include hotel divine and travel expenses.
