Poker players and poker rooms are known for their charity, and online poker rooms are no exception. With the recent earthquake tragedy that struck China one online poker room took action to help bring some small relief to that nation and its people. Online poker room Poker Stars has set up a donation system to collect money for the Red Cross and their efforts to provide relief to the victims. For every dollar donated by a poker player the site will match one dollar. To date more than $70k has been donated by players, which means more than $140k for China.
