Police in Baltimore County have seized poker machines they say are illegal from scores of businesses on a May 8 county raid. There is some question, however, if all 158 of the machines taken from restaurants, liquor stores and bars are truly illegal slot style games. The police were given two weeks to determine if they are all illegal, according to an order from Circuit Court Judge Dana Levitz. There were 41 establishments served search warrants earlier in the month. On a May 27 statement from the State Attorney's Office, the police complied with their two week deadline and have determined all of the machines to be illegal.
