A new game is coming to town in Las Vegas, just in time for the World Series of Poker. But while it shares part of a name with the world's favoite poker game, it likely won't end up at the WSOP. The game is Royal Holdem Poker, and the Nevada Gaming Commission just recently approved its play in Nevada casinos, effective immediately. The game is like Texas Holdem, but instead of an entire deck of cards only 20 are used, tens through aces, or "paint cards" as they are sometimes called. With more betting and less folding, this game will be popular with the casinos.
