Ladies Bayou Poker Championship Won by College Student

It was a 24-year-old college student at Louisiana State University who took down the field in a $200 buy in No Limit Holdem tournament held for ladies only as part of the WSOP Circuit event that took place at Harrah's New Orleans. Lauren Larter, who lives in Mandeville, Louisiana and is sudying occupational therapy, beat the biggest field in three years at this event, winning the top cash prize of $18,102.
